The Team

V1 operates as a specialized boutique: partner-led mandates, no associate tiers, and a small, expert team built for quality over volume. Every search reflects the combined depth of our deal leadership, research capability, technical assessment, and senior advisory network.

How We're Structured

A deliberate model built
for search quality, not headcount.

Most advisory firms grow by adding associates who run the work while partners manage the relationship. V1 inverts that model: the founding partner leads every mandate directly, supported by a dedicated research team, a deal operations group, and an independent technical assessment function. Clients experience partner-level attention from day one through close — because there is no other tier.

This structure reflects a deliberate belief: the judgment required to evaluate pre-revenue AI assets, manage acquisition conversations, and structure non-standard deals cannot be delegated downward. The team around the partner amplifies that judgment — but doesn't replace it.

LinkedIn Profile

Christian leads every V1 mandate directly. His background represents a combination that rarely exists in a single advisor: deep operator experience building and scaling companies, enterprise-grade transaction execution, and the communication discipline to move both founders and corporate decision-makers to "yes."

As CEO of Web3 Pro, he took the company from inception to $110M in enterprise value, $5M ARR, and $10M in institutional funding — closing contracts with Lamborghini, Ducati, and FIFA. Before founding his own companies, he spent four years as a Practice Lead at PwC, advising Fortune 500 clients including Comcast, GE, HP, AT&T, Pfizer, and Walmart on technology strategy, evaluations, and transactions. He has raised $10M+ for his own companies and over $100M for the founders he advises, and has invested in 26+ early-stage technology companies globally.

He has been a guest lecturer at Cornell University since 2019, spoken at the World Economic Forum and S&P Global Platts on 60+ occasions, and been featured as a technology voice on CNBC, CNN, BBC, Forbes, and Al Jazeera. He holds an MBA from Cornell University and a Joint BBA + MSc in Economics from the Università degli Studi di Udine. He is a Dale Carnegie award-winning communicator and a published author (Mondadori, 2021).

Christian serves as a GLG Council Member for expert consultations and as a verified independent consultant on the Catalant network for Fortune 500 and PE-backed companies.

The Team Behind the Search

Four functions that power
every V1 mandate.

Our founding partner leads deal strategy and client engagement. The team below provides the infrastructure that makes every search rigorous, fast, and well-documented.

Function 01

Research & Market Intelligence

Our research team maintains continuous coverage of the AI builder landscape — tracking early-stage AI companies across verticals, monitoring funding activity, founder movement, patent filings, and strategic signals. Research intelligence is live and updated before the first client conversation begins. Every V1 search benefits from a baseline that takes months of continuous work to build, not days.

Function 02

Technical Assessment

Every shortlisted target passes through independent technical assessment before it reaches a client. Our technical advisors evaluate model quality and defensibility, IP ownership chain, architecture review for integration realism, and inference cost analysis with AI cost structures fully loaded. We ensure that what gets shortlisted is technically sound — not just compelling in a demo environment.

Function 03

Deal Operations

Our deal operations team owns the process infrastructure of every mandate: target engagement tracking, document production, meeting coordination, diligence packet organization, and timeline governance. Clients experience a well-managed, well-documented process from day one — one that mirrors the organizational rigor of a serious transaction, not an informal advisory engagement.

Function 04

Senior Advisory Network

V1 maintains a selective network of former Fortune 500 corporate development executives, chief digital officers, and AI sector operating partners. Advisory network members provide vertical depth in specific industries — bringing the perspective of operators who have run technology acquisition processes from the inside. When your search requires deep healthcare expertise, or specialist financial services knowledge, we bring that depth in.

Advisory Depth

Sector expertise from
the people who've done the deals.

Our advisory network brings direct experience from the industries V1 most frequently serves. These are not generalist advisors — they are former operators who have led technology acquisitions from inside the organizations you are trying to sell to.

Financial Services & Insurance

Former chief digital officers and VP Corporate Development alumni from tier-1 US financial institutions. Deep knowledge of regulatory review, data governance requirements, and the internal approval hierarchy for technology acquisitions in regulated industries.

Healthcare & Life Sciences

Former clinical informatics leaders and innovation executives from major health systems and payers. Advisors who understand what clinical AI actually needs to clear procurement, compliance, and medical affairs review — from the inside.

Enterprise Software & PE Platforms

Former technology operating partners and corporate development leads from PE-backed software companies. Advisors who have run bolt-on acquisition programs across multiple portfolios and understand what it takes to close a sub-$15M AI asset deal cleanly and quickly.

Why This Model Works

Partner-led is a choice,
not a constraint.

Most boutique advisory firms describe themselves as "partner-led" while delivering work through a junior layer. V1 is partner-led literally: Christian leads every mandate, speaks with every client, runs every management meeting with targets, and reviews every deliverable before it reaches you.

"We deliberately limit the number of concurrent mandates we run. Not because we can't handle more — but because maintaining genuine quality on every search is non-negotiable. When you engage V1, you're not number fourteen in a portfolio of advisory relationships. You're one of three active searches."

This model produces better outcomes for clients because it creates genuine accountability: the person with the most experience, the deepest network, and the most direct relationship with your organization is also the person doing the work every day until close.
